For travel in the peak season (July to October) we recommend booking three to six months ahead, as lodges and camps fill early. Outside those months six to eight weeks is usually comfortable, and we can often arrange something at short notice.

Yes. Almost every safari on this site can be adjusted for dates, pace, accommodation level and interests, and we regularly build itineraries from scratch. Use "Plan My Safari" and we will come back to you with a proposal.

Yes. Solo travellers are welcome on scheduled departures, and a single supplement applies where a private room is required.

Bank transfer is our standard method, and additional options may be enabled from time to time. All available methods are shown during checkout.

A deposit is required to secure your booking. The percentage is shown clearly before you confirm and again on your invoice.

We never store card numbers on this website. Bank transfers are made directly to our account, and any card gateway we enable uses the provider's own secure hosted checkout.

Our cancellation terms are shown on every safari page and repeated on your confirmation. Written notice is required, and travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Date changes are usually possible subject to availability. Supplier charges may apply, and we will always tell you the cost before making any change.

Visa requirements depend on your nationality and change from time to time. Please check with the Namibian mission in your country or an official government source before travelling.

Most travellers are asked for a passport valid for at least six months beyond their departure date, with sufficient blank pages. Confirm the current requirement with an official source.

Risk varies by region and season, and is higher in the far north and north east. Please consult a travel clinic or your doctor well before departure.

Namibia is generally regarded as one of the safer countries in the region. As anywhere, take normal precautions with valuables and follow your guide's advice in wildlife areas.

Neutral coloured clothing, a warm layer for early mornings, a windproof jacket for the coast, closed walking shoes, a hat, high factor sun protection, sunglasses, a refillable water bottle, binoculars and any personal medication.

On road safaris a soft bag of up to roughly 20 kg per person is comfortable. Fly-in safaris have stricter limits, usually a soft bag around 15 kg, which we confirm at booking.

Yes. Many of our safaris suit families, and we can adjust the pace and driving days accordingly. Any age restrictions are noted on the safari page.

Yes. Child rates apply for travellers under the age shown in our booking settings, and are calculated automatically during checkout.

Air-conditioned 4x4 safari vehicles and, for game drives, open game viewers. Vehicle details appear on each safari page.

Yes. Airport and hotel transfers in the start city are included on most safaris and can be added to the others as an optional extra.

It depends on the safari — from prepared camping to mid-range lodges and luxury camps. Every safari page states the accommodation level, and we can usually upgrade on request.

Yes. A single supplement applies and can be selected during booking.
