1. About these terms
These terms govern bookings made with Gumbi Safaris. By making a booking you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted them on behalf of every traveller in your party.
2. Bookings and confirmation
A booking is only confirmed once we have issued a written confirmation and received the required deposit. Until then, rates and availability are subject to change.
3. Payment
A deposit is payable at the time of booking, with the balance due before departure as stated on your invoice. Bookings made close to the departure date may require payment in full.
4. Prices
Prices are quoted in Namibian Dollars unless stated otherwise and are based on costs, park fees and exchange rates at the time of quoting. We reserve the right to adjust prices where these change materially before final payment.
5. Changes by you
Requests to change dates, duration or party size are subject to availability and may attract additional costs from our suppliers.
6. Changes by us
Itineraries may be adjusted for weather, road conditions, wildlife movement, supplier availability or the safety of our guests. We will always aim to provide an equivalent or better alternative.
7. Travel documents
You are responsible for holding a valid passport, any required visas and any health documentation. We are not liable for costs arising from incomplete travel documents.
8. Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical costs, evacuation, cancellation and personal belongings is strongly recommended for every traveller.
9. Liability
We act as an agent for third party suppliers including lodges, camps, airlines and activity providers. We take reasonable care in selecting them but are not liable for their acts or omissions.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia.
